CORILIN MEGGITT, ACNPC-AG

Corilin was born and raised in NY. She first attended State University at Albany before moving down to Chapel Hill, NC. Her first occupation was as a Computer Systems Analyst for approximately 10 years before deciding to go into the medical field. She attended Duke University where she received an ABSN degree. While raising four boys, she went on to receive an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Duke University where she was invited to join the Honor Society Sigma Theta Tau International. She completed her residency training program in Neurology at Duke Hospital and specialized as a Pain Management NP.  Corilin then continued her training and education in psychiatry to become a Psychiatric NP.

 

Corilin treats patients ages 6 and up. Her many years of psychiatric work experience includes working at a private practice where she treated child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and working at Triangle Springs outpatient/inpatient program where she treated patients with complex psychiatric disorders and/or detox. She is passionate about practicing in psychiatry and treating patients. She currently lives in Cary with her husband and her two school-aged children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and finding balance.
